The American Association of University Women (AAUW) empowers women and girls through research, education, and advocacy. Our nonpartisan, nonprofit organization has more than 170,000 members and supporters across the United States, as well as 1,000 local branches and 800 college and university partners. Since AAUW’s founding in 1881, our members have examined and taken positions on the fundamental issues of the day — educational, social, economic, and political.

By joining AAUW, you belong to a community that breaks through educational and economic barriers so that all women have a fair chance.
The American Association of University Women’s mission is advancing gender equity for women and girls through research, education, and advocacy. Since the local branch was started in 1956, it has given more than $75,000.00 in scholarships to local women.
By joining our branch, you support these goals in a powerful way. As one, we may do something, but as a group of committed and educated women, we can accomplish greatness. We invite you to learn more about our active branch, our members, programs and scholarships. Be part of our small town’s active link to educated women everywhere!
