The AAUW-Anacortes General Meeting will be held at 7:00 P.M. at the Westminster Presbyterian Church, 1300 9th Street, Fellowship Hall. Enter from alley (elevator available).

This month, we will open our program by introducing and hearing from our Tech Trek students. The students will speak promptly at 7:00 p.m. so please be sure to arrive on time to meet these fabulous young women!

Our guest speakers this month are Executive Director Nancy Gentry of Gentry House, and Marketing Director Deanna McDougle for Skagit Adult Day Program. Gentry House is located across the street from Causland Park and offers a unique client experience in a home-like setting, for e.g., fresh-cooked meals prepared by staff are provided to clients. These services assist caregivers tending to the needs of loved ones impacted with the often debilitating impacts of dementia. Skagit Adult Day Program offers a combination of support for the caregiver and a supervised day program where special-needs adults can participate in a suportive group setting amongst peers.
